SPEAKER'S BUREAU

The Institute Speaker’s Bureau is made up of six professionals who have been recognized as leading educators in their respective fields.

These individuals are dynamic, organized and motivational speakers, and can bring a variety of professional and personal experiences in eldercare to their presentations. Each speaker has specific knowledge and areas of specialization as indicated, but is capable of delivering a wide variety of presentation topics.

Susan Crane
Susan is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and holds a bachelor’s degree in social work. Susan brings to the Institute team over 25 years of experience as a long term care and assisted living administrator; educator, consultant and social worker.

Susan specializes in the following areas: Nursing Home Administration, Operations, Survey Preparation, Culture Change, and Social Work

Amy Fager
Amy is a Pennsylvania Licensed Personal Care Home Administrator and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. An accomplished public speaker, Ms Fager brings ten years of experience in eldercare census-building and marketing to the Institute team.

Amy specializes in the following areas: eldercare marketing, admissions and sales; Culture Change; Personal Care Home Administration

Allison Lantieri
Allison has held positions in Marketing and Communications for eldercare organizations since 1997. She holds a BA in Speech Communications, a BA in Theatre and a minor concentration in Public Relations from West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Allison specializes in the following areas: Culture Change, organizational leadership, eldercare marketing and empowering caregivers

Teresa McCann
Teresa has been a Registered Nurse for more than 20 years and began her career in acute care as a critical care and emergency room nurse. She has served as Director of Nursing and Regional Nurse in long term care and an administrator and Regional Director in Home Health Care.

Teresa specializes in the following areas: Culture Change, Individualized Care, Holistic Advances, Empowering Caregivers and Liberalized Dining

Annette Sanders
President of the Institute, Annette is a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of experience in long term care and emergency and critical care nursing, during which time she held numerous clinical, supervisory and educator roles.

Annette specializes in the following areas: Clinical and Operational Leadership, Culture Change, Survey, Caregiver Education

Rhea Schneiders
Rhea is a practical nurse who brings twenty-one years of long term care experience to the Institute. She has held a wide range of positions, including Restorative Director, Administrator, Culture Change Consultant and Social Services Director.

Rhea specializes in the following areas: Dementia, End of Life, Assisted Living Best Practices Programming, Social Work, Alzheimer’s Support, Empowering Caregivers, Culture Change and Administration
