SERVICES FOR PROVIDERS
The Institute for Caregiver Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming eldercare from a clinical model to a social model of care, known in the industry as “Person-Centered Care.” We work with provider organizations including non-profit, faith-based eldercare providers; for-profit multi-home companies; Veteran’s Administration homes; and privately-owned nursing homes, personal care homes, assisted livings, adult day centers and home care companies.
Culture Change Consulting for Eldercare Organizations Our team works with eldercare organizations across the country to guide them through Culture Change. We offer a fully-integrated, multi-year contract to deliver on-site transformational change; a Community Coaching approach that offers guidance through quarterly visits with unlimited phone and e-mail support; and a Cafe Plan that offers customization and flexibility for organizations to choose one or two areas on which to focus on.
Cash & Carry Resources The Institute for Caregiver Education offers a variety of products that represent years of dedication to our mission: to foster the highest quality of life for elders and caregivers through cultural transformation and professional development. Each resource has been carefully developed by a team of eldercare professionals to meet the needs of providers and individuals who are seeking to take their team members to the next level.
Speaker’s Bureau We have a team of highly-trained motivational speakers that present on a variety of eldercare topics including Person-Centered Care; Making the Business Case for Culture Change; Holistic Approaches to Resident Care; Empowering Frontline Employees; Marketing & Admissions for Person-Centered Care Providers; Community Life; and many others.
Our team speaks nationally at ASA/NCOA, AAHSA, AHCA, ACHCA, NADONA, the VA, and regional and state healthcare association conferences. The Institute has also been a regular provider of educational session content for the National Pioneer Network. |
