JIM KINSEY FEATURED SPEAKER AT ILLINOIS PIONEER COALITION MEETINGS
Statewide, IL - Institute for Caregiver Education team member
Jim Kinsey was a featured speaker at several statewide Illinois Pioneer Coalition
meetings in March. The Illinois Pioneer Coalition is one of a growing
number of state organizations dedicated to bringing Culture Change to the
forefront of the national long term care conversation. The day-long conferences,
titled “Pioneering Approaches to Long-Term Care: Culture Change in
Action” were held in North Chicago, Peoria and Joliet, Illinois.
The conferences were designed for long term care professionals who are actively
engaged in transforming their eldercare organization from a medical model of
care to a social model. The day consisted of four learning building blocks
that are essential to a successful Culture Change transformation. They included:
Transforming the Assessment/Admission Process; Resident Mentoring; Transformational
Leadership and Leading the Generations.
The Illinois Pioneer Coalition was organized to provide long term care settings
with the education and tools needed to effect deep Culture Change, thereby
transforming long term care settings into real homes and improving the quality
of life for individuals and staff in various settings throughout Illinois.
Mr. Kinsey speaks nationally for the Institute for Caregiver Education on
a variety of Culture Change-related topics. If you are interested in booking
