Full-Time Opening for Associate Consultant/Educator
We currently have a full-time opening for an Associate Consultant and Educator
in the state of Florida.
The Associate Consultant/Educator will assist the Institute for Caregiver
Education's (IfCE's) long term care clients in implementing the best practices
that will transform their community from a traditional medical model to a social
model of care. Duties and responsibilities for this position include:
1. Assist in coordination, representation and new business development of
all consulting / education contracts in the state of Florida and beyond to
include national IfCE clients as needed.
2. Assess and evaluate the social model practices of each home with which
IfCE has an educational services contract, and assist team members in designing
and implementing a plan for continuing their community’s transition to
a social model of care.
3. Maintain a current knowledge of the needs and challenges facing the long
term care community and relevant knowledge of how Culture Change can address
those challenges.
4. Assist in development of additional curricular programs designed to enhance
the mission of the Institute and that also respond to professional needs, trends
and opportunities.
5. Maintain current knowledge of organizational development theory and practice
including but not limited to teamwork, leadership, environment and relationship
development.
6. Represent the Institute and the organization’s mission at professional,
government, and advisory group meetings.
7. Provide public speaking appearances at national and regional association
conferences and assist with exhibit and trade show staffing as needed.
The individual that we are seeking will be a dynamic group leader, with proven
skills in organizational change, public speaking and mission-based work. Qualified
applicants must demonstrate a background in long term care, though they need
not be a clinical professional. Attention to details and deadlines are a must,
as is the ability to work independently in an environment that requires rigorous
travel.
The position is salaried, full-time. Benefits package included. Salary is
commensurate with level of Culture Change experience.
