Nurse Aide Training at the Institute
Full-time Day Class Starting November 17, 2014
The Institute for Caregiver Education has been training nursing assistants
in Pennsylvania since 1998. We are committed to providing students with sound
education and skills with special emphasis on preparation for careers in eldercare.
Experienced instructors, a 1:10 faculty to student ratio, and a strong curriculum
give our students the solid preparation they need to succeed in the workplace.
The Institute’s innovative “Foundations
of Nursing Assistant Care” curriculum focuses on the five core
principles of person-centered care: empowerment, choice, community, respect
and relationships. Each value is woven into the curriculum creating a valuable
educational experience for the student, leading to improved quality of care
and quality of life for individuals in their care.
Our laboratory and clinical settings are outfitted
with the equipment used on the job. Students receive hands-on laboratory and
clinical practice within actual eldercare settings so they receive on-the-job
experience before graduation that meets the needs of our local employers.
